Located in Cambridgeport, this 6,700 RSF existing lab building housed a vivarium, and was extremely opaque within the context of the existing neighborhood. Balance architects was tasked with creating an entirely new layout with 40% office, 60% lab and completely renovating the exteior of the building. The project completed construction in early winter of 2022.
